You guys have progressive conservatives ? lol

Conservatism is a foreign concept in my country. It starts sounding more awkward every day .

We have a 2 party system, not a 2 party populace.

The nation is too politically split to really say that conservatism is counter-culture everywhere. It certainly is in California, but there are also a lot of liberal things that would still qualify as "counter-culture". A lot of people do lip service to liberalism and progressive state of mind, but there are still a lot of issues that go on that, while talked about by "progressive men" on Facebook, aren't acted on in person.

In other places, however, conservatism is still the norm and as such would not be counter-culture. One of the beautiful things about America is how diverse we are as a nation. Part of that is because we're so fucking large, so it's tough to put statements like this out there and have them be unequivocally true.

If being Conservative is cool, consider me Miles Davis.

i'm not sure where i fall along the conservative to liberal spectrum

I got banned from some/r/Bernie spots. They don't really agree with facts and being told they shouldn't be living in their parent's basement at age 25+
