Mostly for gaming and random internet activity.

I have asus strix 1070 gpu in a solid pc so i guess it should be ok to look for an 144hz one.

I've bought my last one 6 years ago so have literally no idea what other parameters to look for.

Your best (read:cheapest) choice right now is likely a 24" 1440p 144hz g-sync Dell TN panel for $400.

Depending on the games you play, a 1070 wont do 144 fps @ 1440p

Ok, let's forget the 144hz then, would love to get a decent 27" under 300moneys actually but it seems rather impossible i see.

Qnix, Monoprice 1440p, etc.

You could do 1080p 144hz easily with a 1070 though.

Gotta remember some of the most popular games are DotA 2, LoL, CS:GO, and Overwatch. Those can be ran at 1440p 144 fps np
