This is probably cheap for the raiders, he is inline for another gigantic contract once this is up

Yup, Oakland made a very smart move locking him up now. He's a franchise QB, probably on-par with Andrew Luck at this point in their careers. Carr has been lucky to have good playmakers around him, Oakland needs to lock those guys up next.

And football has a way higher chance of permanent injury..and requires the same. If not more training.
How many ppl watch regular season football games as compared to regular season bball games?? I know personally i only watched 20-30 cavs games this season and 16 browns games. Nfl grosses significantly more per game.
