Well, if Cali is gonna become their own country, we'd best make allowances for growing all the food they produce....elsewhere...first.

And all the science they produce.

And all the tech jobs they produce.

And all the educated people they produce.

There's really no other state that produces as much for the country as a whole than California. I mean, maybe New York since it has Wal Street, but in the end it's just an exchange and not where things are actually produced.

While I do agree places in Cali, like LA, live in a bubble. I don't believe they should succeed from the U.S & from their own country simply because they have differential opinions

I don't know why people think it's bad to "live in a bubble" like Los Angeles. This is the sort of bubble the whole country should be begging to live in. Our only real problem is that we need developers to step it up and take the pressure off the housing prices.

I love the OP stating his opinion as objective fact.

I can't smell the farts because there's all of this legal pot being blazed constantly in my house.

Having weed isn't a Cali exclusive.

Begging to live is shithole like Los Angeles?

Why don't developers "step it up?" They went through 4 solid years of downturn when population growth did not. They're also running out of space, so they have to build up, not out, and that's more expensive.

How is it a shit hole exactly? I've lived here for a few years now and it seems alright to me. I can't afford a house because I need about half a million dollars for a down payment, but that's fine since I don't have children.
