The pic is currently how i have my set up.

The PSU has a fan facing up into the case not bottom outside.

The GPU has 2 fans.

My cpu cooler is a noctua nh-d15 with 2 stock fans

The case fans are all Noctua nf-a14

I have 2 more open slots for a 140 mm fan up top and 1 on the bottom next to the psu.


Idle temp is around 32-35 and on load it goes up to 50 max.

Core i5 6500 OC'd to 4.5 on 1.3v


I wanted to put more fans into the case.

Should I put 1 more intake in bottom and 1 more up top?

or should I put 2 more intakes 1 on top and 1 on bottom.

Any suggestions would be great.

it's the thermal take smart pro rgb edition. they designed it to have the fan facing up

If the case is vented underneath the power supply, then the power supply should be installed fan - down.
