For the fucking mess that Billy King left, the Nets have done a decent job of acquiring talent Now whether those talented players pan out is unknown, but I have to give kudos to the Nets FO. They inherited a fucking mess.

True. What he did to the Nets got to be the worst shit of all time. Nothing compares. Warriors could fucking waive Curry and Klay today and it'd be less bad rofl.

Anyways, I'm pretty sad we had to get rid of DLo just to unload Mozgov. Also, this speaks volumes about how fucking bad our previous front office had gotten. Deng and Mozgov, one year into their contracts, are being unloaded and it costs us our youth just to get rid of them.

That's a great move by the Nets. Likely not to compete anytime soon, taking in Mozgov's horrendous contract in return getting a 21-y/o recent #2 pick with high upside. Lopez was likely gone after this year anyways, Nets have done a good job stockpiling talent for the future with what Billy King left them with.

Yeah def good move for them.

Could be good for Lakers too if their goal is just to become relevant again and start attracting free agents, which given their history is very likely.

This move will be good for the Lakers if and only if the cap space helps them sign a big name FA.

@BA_Turner

Just heard @Lakers offered @Pacers either Jordan Clarkson or Julius Randle and 27, 28 pick for Paul George.

Brody and Ballgame to the Lakers.
LelBron and Carmemelol to the Clippers.

The Pacific is going to be STACKED. πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ‘€πŸ‘€

This basically says Nets are fine with sucking major dick for the forseeable future. Tryna do a 76er but with one tenth of the draft picks.
Lakers get an expiring contract, and Brook is decent, but man, I loved Dlo.

Celtics love this

Good trade for the Nets

Russell is a still young talented player. I never bought into him being a PG, always thought he was a SG or in a role like Manu was (sixth man).

Nets got some few good young prospects in Caris and D'Angelo now.

Vincent Goodwill @vgoodwill
Sources: Bulls were informed by Dwyane Wade that he's picking up his option for next season.

The deal gives the Lakers significant cap room next summer. With close to $60 million off the books by that time after Tuesday's deal, they could chase one or two max free agents.

Bobby Marks‏ @BobbyMarks42
If LAL can find a home for Clarkson, not bring back Randle and stretch Deng, cap space in 18-19 would be $64m. Good enough for 2 max.
