They were. Took it to microcenter to get repaired and I bought both parts from them so they replaced them free of charge, had to just pay labor costs.

Yeah... this is getting old. Trying to build this shit for my younger brother but it's a nightmare.

I've built 4 computers, this one just wasn't working so I took it to microcenter to have them find out what was wrong. They found that the CPU and motherboard were defective, replaced them, and rebuilt the whole pc for $80 total.

I'm surprised you had to pay anything for them to diagnose the issue. Kind of shitty.

I wonder how much of that was diagnostics and how much was building.
