Right but the speed difference is negligible due to how it's interface and things work. Doesn't work effectively like a SSD should, with Microsoft it needs to be built in and optimized to actually get accurate SSD speeds.

I assume the X will be the same, average speed difference in benchmarks tested on the Xbox one S is like 5-7% using a external SSD rather than 100%+ it would be with the internal

Most games capped to 4k 30fps so all that power to run at 1080p, very impressive.

Hopefully they add a solid state edition for 699 or so, because standard HDD is a turd

I don't know about that. People are pretty down on the price point as is.

Yeah, no one other than OP would consider a $700 console. They'd just build a PC and be done with it.
