I want to merge 10+ gifs of 10-20mbs each up to 200mbs
Very larges files

is there anything free that can do that?

online website? gimp? program?

lmk

What I can do is make mp4 files instead of gifs, thn I merger all mp4 and convert thn back to a gif
but I rather just merge gifs directly

Wrong subforum, post here with maybe 2/3 sample.

Once one gif is over you want the next one to start and so on and all of them wrapped in a single file, right ?

Yeah, sites are limited to 5mbs. My gif is going to be large 50 to 200mbs. That's why I had to divide it in parts

It depends what you're trying to do. If you're simply trying to combine them back-to-back-to-back, etc, then photoshop is capable of doing this with the animation timeline. Older versions of photoshop used to be paired with imageready for making/editing gifs.

Open all the gifs in photoshop, then drag and drop the layers into one document and arrange/crop/order as you see fit, then you'll turn all the layers off, then turn one on in each frame, one by one, then adjust the frame speed and whether or not you want it to loop.

Cuz ps tells me its limited to 500 frames

Also, do you know a shortcut to select all frames on Windows?

With Photoshop, when I do a text layer for the image layer and make frames from layers for the Timeline:
The text is made into its own frame...

Is there a way to merge the layers but still be able to edit the text?
Ive tried to group or link the layers but it always makes its own text frame.

If I merge layers I don't think I can go back to edit the text

I haven't confirmed these methods myself, but I found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCefqK5vqUQ, which was located in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/HighQualityGifs/comments/4ajccv/bypassing_500_frame_limit/

Select the bottom/top layer in the layers palette, scroll to the opposite end of the palette, hold shift, then click the bottom/top layer. Make sure your move tool is selected (hotkey=V), click and hold anywhere in your workspace/document, then drag your cursor to tab of the other document you're drying to combine with.

If I'm understanding you correctly, make sure your text layer is above whichever frames in the layers palette you want it to show on. In the very first frame of your animation, turn on the text layer and it should show on all frames of animation.
