Interesting. So your taking 700+ level courses?

I'm done with classes, yes I took several 700+ courses.

I was, until I did research in a biochemistry lab and got a feel for the field, now I'm not sure. Doing computational chemistry now since I transferred between 3 labs.

Basically we have 2 biochemistry labs. The first the professor wasn't interested in actually doing research, so I left. Second the professor wasn't really competent and didn't have tenure. She's a few months away from getting kicked out since she's not producing results, got out of there as well.

Unfortunately I really want to do biochemistry or biology research, but our department kind of blows for that.

Now I'm doing computational chemistry as close to biology research and will probably try to do research in medical school.

I had similar problems at nmu.

I always found the show obnoxious because of the peppy nature in which they spout Physics buzzwords.
It just screams to me the idea of romanticizing science and not actually knowing anything about it.
I was always the party pooper when other members of the Physics department talked about how great Sheldon Cooper is.
