What university is NMU?

Northern Michigan University. Why? What school are you attending? What is your masters program called?

Whats your thesis about?

There is so much wrong with this string of words... I think I get what you were trying to say though. So your into bio-chem?
I have some friends who are into it. I have learned a lot about how entropy plays a roll in DNA causing cancer.
It's quiet interesting.

Mine was on the effects of mass media consumption on social and economic systems within various sets of governments, organizations, and cultures.

I am not happy with it personally.

Yuck, that's barely science when it's done well.

Straight up Saekeesian quality stuff.

Not really.

I never implied negative effects, in fact, my main point in my thesis were the benefits to having instant mass media at your fingertips.

Information is power, and information is more available now then ever before.

I am not shocked really, you have made assumptions with almost every single post.

No bigy we all do it. Now that we have measured epeen/academia peens, can we perhaps get back to the topic at hand?

BTW MO state has no chem masters program.

Perhaps you meant bio chem or organic chem or perhaps analytical chem? they only have 5 programs.

Also, here, check this out.

They totally have a chemistry masters program. I know because I'm in it. You need to work on your Google fu. https://chemistry.missouristate.edu/graduate/

I never said it was negative to have media at your finger tips. I meant sociology studies like that are usually pretty terribly done, and even when they are done well they usually barely tell us anything.

Gravity doesn't reverse entropy. The idea that the universe would collapse on itself and cause another big bang was proposed shortly after the big bang, it's not really a unique thought.

Entropy is the principal that systems tend towards orientations that maximize the number of available micro states. This can be somewhat approximated as disorder, but its not the same in a lot o circimstances.

Like i said at the very beginning, once you start dealing with macro / extreme macro scales your assumptions fall apart. I was looking at that link you sent me, and its a list of the 5 programs i was talking about. None are chemistry but all are types of chemistry.

Or are you taking all of them?

Dude, work on your reading comprehension. They have areas of specialization available in a larger chemistry program.

Okay, so which masters/graduate/program are you taking? I ask again. (or are you sticking with "chemestry")

You are pretty hostile for someone taking part in a sitcom thread.

Chemistry, and I'm doing it in a computational chemistry lab.
