Hello again
This time around I'll be playing a dual element sorceress. Nova/Hydra, in fact. I've always liked both of these skills, but I'm a little nervous about having severe mana issues during my pure nova stage.
Rules:
-Hardcore
-All areas and bosses must first be played through on /players 8. Any re-runs of bosses or areas can be done on any player setting to speed up MF runs and take the sting out of grinding.
-Must complete all quests
-Must acquire all waypoints
-Ladder runewords enabled via txt file. (No plugY)
Goals:
-Kill Hell Baal
-Do a 100% full clear of hell act 5
-Complete Tal Rasha's set
Plan:
I will level through Normal and most of Nightmare as a pure Nova sorceress. In her first incarnation, I will indeed break the golden rule and stat some to energy. I will also stat Static Field enough to hit an 8 yard radius so that it has the same radius as Nova. I'm thinking Static/Merc will play a big part in Normal while I'm having mana issues. Once Nova and Lightning Mastery are maxed, I'll start to max Hydra and Fire Mastery, the rest of the points going to a Hydra synergy. Around level 85-90, I'll go to a skill calculator and figure out the ideal distribution between synergies/mastery for Hydra and stat that way. I'd eventually like to complete Tal's set, I haven't fully decided on the exact final gear or the final mercenary either.
