Haven't had a lot of luck at garage sales lately

Grabbed a couple PSP games

Lego games aren't really my thing, but it was sealed so why not.

Unfortunately tactics orge was not in the case
Instead it was Final Fantasy Tactics for PSP

Certainly not a bad game, but I don't own a PSP and FFT is less valuable.
Not sure what I'm gonna do with it.

MLB Pennant Race and VRBaseball '97 for Playstation 1

I don't dislike sports titles, but I usually pass them up.
These are atleast some what uncommon.

MLB Pennant Race was the second baseball game released for the PS1, about a year after launch.

Got all these games for $6 at a garage sale

Haven't picked up as much lately, been busy with work and went on a week vacation out west.
Been having fun but I am losing time to go to sales as the garage sale season comes to an end :o

The Half Price Books in my town is an outlet HPB, so it gets leftovers from the other regional ones..
Sometimes they have sales for dirt cheap; the other day there was a deal going on where you purchased
a bag for $20 and could fill it up with anything in the store..I grabbed a lot of stuff (some graphic novels,
some DVDs, CDs, & books) but snagged a couple games things too:

Active 2 for PS3
A Green/Clear PS1 controller variant
AV cables for a PS1
3 random baseball PS1 games
Ratchet and Clank for PS2
Limited Edition Halo 2 for Xbox

Halo 2 came with all the literature, DVD and clear sleave
Unfortunately no manual with Ratchet and Clank :(

Active 2 was a last minute snag for me..
I pass on 98% of "fitness games" but this one was so weird

Came with some work out goodies like heart monitors and a USB drive?

The Baseball games I was also on the fence about.. My thinking was to lump together 5 baseball titles to sell.

Hard to say what I paid for these, but I got a bunch of shit for $20. I'll say $5?

Found a couple Playstation controllers at goodwill for $6

Metal of Honor for Playstation 1
Metal of Honor Underground for Playstation 1

Underground is a little less common, I bought them both just to have a pair :)

Ridge Racer for PSP

I love racing games. I had this for Playstation 1 back in the day.
This was a PSP launch title; not particularly valuable but cool!

God the 3 games at goodwill for $7

Profit: $190.5/$255/$64.5

Soul Caliber II for Playstation 2

Soul Caliber is maybe my favorite fighter series (never got into Street Fighter  )
I love the first one on Dreamcast!

Found this at a thrift shop for $1.
A little scratched up and no manual though.. <_<

Playstation 1 Console (only)

A local gamestore occasionally has a console only sale when they are stocked with inventory
Got this PS1 for $5

I buy playstation games more than any other console but don't actually have a way to test them before I sell them
I usually pass on anything that doesn't look like it's in great condition.. but I have pieced together controllers and cables for a full console.

It would have been nice to have a PS2 instead so I could test those games as well... I own both a PS1 and PS2 but they are in my old room at my parent's place a few states over.
When I am back in town for the holidays I am going to grab my PS2 but until then I figured $5 was a decent price. I'll use it to test/play games and sell it later :)

Back case to Bust A Groove for Playstation 1

Not the most exciting purchase, but Bust A Groove is a pretty rare and expensive game.
Complete it can go for $60-$80

Found this at a thrift store with a random PC game in it for $0.50.

Maybe it has some value as it is? Or maybe I can piece together a game disc and manual for cheap to get a complete copy.
For $0.50, fuck it! :)

Half Price Books had a bargain bin with incomplete games/games that weren't selling
I picked out a couple things...

The Final Round for Playstation 1
Colony Wars III: Red Sun for Playstaion1

I couldn't find anything about the golf game, other than it was a apart of Konami's
XXL sports series that put out some sports titles across different platforms in mid 90's.
Golf games can be fun? I don't know :)

Colony Wars is complete but the cover of the manual is missing..
Haven't heard of this game before but it seems really cool!
I played a little bit and it is a space shooter where you earn money and get upgrades.
I guess the first 2 games in the series were received better.. Maybe I'll check those out!

NFL Blitz 2001 for Playstation 1 (Disc only)
Tetris Attack for Game Boy

NFL blitz is 100% my favorite football game EVER.
I love arcade style sports games like NBA jam and blitz I can play with my friends that don't care for sports.
I have this game on N64 and Dreamcast too with the DC verison being my favorite :)

Tetris Attack is less like a Tetris game and more of a Bejeweled-Tetris Hybrid.
Yoshi also makes an appearance which surprised me. I figure Nintendo would push that on the game art to sell this game.

Picked up these 4 games for $1

I am friends with a couple that collects different things and used to have a booth at a flea market selling action figures,
comics, super hero merch, etc. They closed down a while ago but still have a lot of stock in their basement in boxes.
They found a couple SNES games and asked if I wanted them and gave me a couple for free! :)

Mega Man X for SNES
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest for SNES

I have never really played any Mega Man games :o
But I think this is a good one to start out on.

Mystic Quest has a unique place in gaming history as the first Final Fantasy Title moved to the North American market.
They stripped it down to a pretty boring and simple format because they though the more complex battling system
wouldn't appeal to gamers in the US lol

Super happy to add these to my collection and will not resell them ^_^

Sold Driver and Driver 2 for $10

Bought a 5 game lot on 3bay..

Silver for Dreamcast
Soul Caliber for Dreamcast

I've been looking for a good deal for Silver for a while now.
It looks like an interesting game, an action RPG with nice pre-rendered backgrounds.
It seems very much to be influenced by Secret of Mana with play style but in a medieval setting.
I hear the story is kind of bland but I am ready to hack and slash my way though it :)

What needs to be said about Soul Caliber?
Awesome game, and some of the best graphics on the Dreamcast

Phantasy Star Online for Dreamcast *with Sonic Adventure 2 demo disc

I am sad to say I missed the Phantasy Star Online Craze :(
Really, I have never played any Dreamcast game online!

I recently got into the Phantasy Star series as a whole.
About 6 months ago I played through the PS1 and PS2 to check them out.
They were interesting and fun but PS1 definitely doesn't hold up well by modern standards.
But considering it's a game from 1988 it was a lot of fun! I hear PS4 is the best one.

I'm excited to check out PSO. Even if I have to play offline the game looks amazing!

World Series Baseball for Dreamcast
Virtua Tennis for Dreamcast

A little bit of filler..
I actually already have Virtua Tennis but only a Sega Allstars version, not a white spine case.

Paid $40 for this lot (including shipping ofc).
It was a pretty good deal considering Silver is usually ~$30 game on its own.

Still building up my Dreamcast library. I now have 18 games :)

Profit: $238/$287.5/$49.5
