Nice little Super Nintendo haul from a garage sale today:

Super Mario World
Super Mario Allstars
Super Mariokart
Rocky Rodent

Got them at $2 each.

Mariokart is in kind of bad shape, the back label is a little warped from water damage and the pins look pretty discolored.
I'm not sure if it will play but at $2 I had to grab it.

Super Mario World is one of my favorite games ever... so much nostalgia playing that game as a kid.

I don't own a Super Nintendo anymore but I have been wanting one again lately. Not sure if I will sell these or keep one or 2 of them.

Profit: $122.5/$195/$72.5

Grabbed a couple PS2 games

Onimusha 1: Warlords and Onimusha 2: Samurai's destiny

A fun and pretty successful title for Capcom.
it plays like Resident Evil titles of the same era except rather than shooting zombies you are a samurai.
I really like these games!

Amplitude

This game is very underrated. The bland cover doesn't help.
It's a game by Harmonix of Guitar Hero fame.
It plays like a guitar hero style game, but instead of playing a fake guitar, you are a space ship that jumps from lane to lane
(each lane being a different instrument melody of the song) as you go along.

It's fun in a gimmicky way like Guitar Hero, but no giant controller required.
Song list is not great but not bad either

Picked these 3 games up at goodwill for $9.

Not a lot of value here at that price. I might be able to double my money but I have been having trouble selling PS2 titles.
If they don't sell, I'm happy to keep them. A good deal regardless :)

Thanks! If you don't have access to garage sales you can always try pawn shops, ask them if they have older video games and they will usually bring out a box from the back of random NES/genesis/SNES stuff. All you have to do is look! :)

Sold amplitude today for $8

it has been many years since I played a burnout game. I still have the original burnout for ps2 in a box somewhere at my parents attic or garage. But it is a really solid game from what I remember. I love the replays and details from when you crash.. I bet a 360 version is great

I don't have a 360 anymore but maybe I'll pick burnout 3 up if I see it! :)

Grandia II for Dreamcast

Not exactly a "thrift find, I won this on an ebay auction for $35

I have been wanting a JRPG for the dreamcast for a while. I really wanted Skies of Arcadia but found this is a cheaper option..
I'm 6 hours in but holy shit do I love this game :o

Interesting story and voice acting is pretty good although not great. Where it really shines is the combat.
Turn based RPGs can be a little boring when you are just starting out or late in game when you are too powerful, you just end up hitting the action button and hacking things to death.
This game has a nice compromise where it's not quite live action, but the turn base system is improved upon by being able to cancel dodge and block if actions are timed correctly

$35 was a decent price considering the case is in great shape, came with manual, and music CD

Really happy to have this in my collection :)
