Should i attend a reputable coding boot-camp?
pros and cons? i would be attending the IOS Immersive 3 month program boot-camp with DevMoutain.
If anybody has any feedback to give that would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on what you want. If you want a career as a software developer for some decent companies then no, you would be better off going for a bachelors.

If you want to make apps on your own or maybe in a small start up then go ahead.

Pros: You'll learn a lot in a short amount of time and it isn't too expensive
Cons: The bootcamps can be very difficult, it is easy to fall behind, and they are mostly functional. They are not going to give you as wide a range of knowledge or theory as a 4 year degree.

What is your plan after the bootcamp and what do you want to get out of it? It is easier to get a job with a bachelors, but that only matters for your first job. Once you have job experience and recommendations it doesn't matter if you went to college to learn programming.

i would like to be hired as a junior dev. but also have side projects and freelance
i don't have time to do a 4 yr degree in computer science. I guess I'm just asking if bootcamps are legit and worth the effort and money to get jump started in the area you choose.

Coding Bootcamps? I learned more from copying and pasting SO answers tbh  (and browsing them daily)

Not really, coding bootcamps are useless unless they are free courses (imo)

Yeah, but is that worth the price? When you can find their paid courses + more out there online for free? Youtube for example, stack overflow, etc, etc
