I have a 9 year old cat. Clean bill of health. My cat has been throwing up more than usual the last few days. Mostly liquid and bile. I have also noticed she has a reduced appetite. She has left tuna in her bowl. Which never happens. Has anyone experienced this before? I am going to take her to the vet after work. Am I over reacting? I hear they really gouge you at the vets for xrays, blood work etc and half the time they dont even find out whats wrong. Any advice?

You could try googling what it might be. Although that might just lead to more panic. Did you give the symptoms to the bet when you made the appointment? I'd ask them what they thought

Be sure when you have your appointment at the vet to check the cats kidneys, this is something fairly common in older cats, it's how my last went @16 all the kinds of symptoms you were mentioning. If you catch it early, special diets or fluids can can help.

cats good again... blood work came back ok. Had to put an iv in her to hydrate and give a pill for appetite.
