Followed a 1:2 ratio on tail versus beer cans, and it came out pretty good without additional seasoning. On another try, I added some chopped garlic as I was boiling the alcohol out. It was even better!

I would like to continue tweaking this simple recipe to add more flavor to the tail. I'm pretty new at steaming things, does anyone have suggestions on other herbs/spices to add to the beer?

Yeah you can try putting some rosemary on the lobster see how that would taste

rosemary is one of those herbs that can overpower, and lobster is one of those proteins that it doesn't take much to over power.

i dont personally think the rosemary would be a good herb to use with the lobster unless you were doing some sort of like chapino or gumbo style dish
