Trying to play diablo1 on windows 7.

When I start up game, the screen is shifted halfway up to my monitor. So like the UI potion/skill bar starts mid monitor level and the whole top of the game screen is cut off.


Any suggestions would be nice.

Weird, I never had any problems with D1 on Windows 7 except the palette bug which is easy to fix.

Cannot vouch for it but it seems legit. I'm gonna try it the next time I walk D1.

So i did get that patch to work, and the game plays fine but it's in a veeery small window.

D1 runs in 640x480

You can resize the window according to the feature list:

Windowed mode: Diablo now runs in a resizable window

Probably just click and drag the lower right corner like you would do with any window. Maybe even a maximize button is available?
