so President Trump spent half of what the loser in 2016 did, and yet managed to campaign probably 10x the amount of said loser. now the (D)s are crying that there isn’t enough money on hand for them to prop up their already predetermined candidate

This is the real reason why Trump is fighting that his taxes not be made public. He doesn't want the cult to know he is not as rich as he says he is.

The man hasn't been honest about his wealth to date so i wouldn't dwell on that but but his attempts to host a world leaders summit at one of his resorts has been noted while his son is making these statements so it's funny

His worth was never close to what he claimed. Most if his personal assessment was in his brand, which was assessed by others as a fraction of the value. Forbes lists and the like largely take the word of the person they are assessing, no deep dives into financials to verify as far as I know. Some is public, like stock ownership in publicly traded companies, but others isnt, like private business ownership like Trump Organization
