Damn very good for solo prof gaining. Doesn't need higher EE unless you are in to speed.

Prof gain does not vary on your speed, he's going to kill the same amount of monsters you do, you'll just be on your same MQ while he's on his third.

You don't attack faster (more often) because your gear is poo

You get maximum of 10 prof points per wave:
You kill a wave within 5 attacks you have a chance to gain either 1 prof to 5 prof points.
You kill a wave within 3 attacks you have a chance to gain either 1 prof to 3 prof points
You kill a wave within 10 attacks you have a chance to gain either 1 prof to 10 prof points.

Based on my example above, you do NOT need to have higher EE if you are hunting for prof points... hence my post.
There are GP or MQ hunters that want fast runs, so they opt for the best EE for killspeed, but, there are also players
that want to gain more Prof points. NOW. to gain more prof points, you do NOT get in a group UNLESS you are the
healer and want healing profs... You would go solo to gain the best benefits... so a person with Rank4 Fire and wanting
to get more ranks COULD (not would) use that charm from level 5 to 10 in the hopes to get extra Prof points because of
more actions that give more chances to gain Prof points.

I think you misread it... tl;dr version: that charm means you have to attack more per wave giving your more chances to gain prof points from level 5-10 (as long as rank is not higher than 4), the bonus of +2xx Max mana means it is viable because you do not have to shrine / comfrey or use fish as often.

EDIT: the ee on that charm means you can kill a 3 spawn (normal) wave in around 8 actions (depending on gear) from level 5 to 8, then at time you will need more actions.

Yes, so if I'm constantly killing waves, just faster than you are because you're choosing to use shitty gear so that you can level your prof so your shitty weapon has 1% more EE on it. So you can level faster and do climbs faster. If you chose to ply like an idiot, that's up to you of course.

Now, are you telling me that if you and I solo'd for 3 hours straight, and I gained 60 levels, and you gained 20, but we have the same amount of actions, I have just done more damage etc. You'll have more ability points than me? You're wrong. And you've basically outlined the opposite, it is best to finish waves in under 10 attacks

Yes, more actions equal more prof points, but only an idiot will use crappy gear to make all those actions in one level instead of gaining 5 with normal gear.

Between levels 5-10. yeah you'll gain more prof than me. But by the time you go 5-10, I'll have gone 5-15 and gained the same prof in the same time, you just like to play as a dinosaur

Do I have to point out the obvious: There is ALWAYS a chance to get 0 prof points whether you 1 hit kill or take 10 actions to kill 1 monster the difference is that with more actions, you have a higher chance to gain a prof point.

It takes me 3 hours straight to get from level 55 to 70... whereas level 5-10 is way faster... come up with a better argument... time a level 5 to 10 run with 1 hit killing items vs 3 hit killing items... you maybe amazeballs to find out... there ain't much of a difference. Don't respond until you actually test out a level 5 item with 35 ee vs a level 5 item with 75 ee from level 5 to level 10 and post each and every prof point received with a time.

And to keep on topic... This is an avg item:

Epic wind IV,
Level Req: 5
Spell Damage: 18 to 82,
+50% Enhanced Effect,
+102 Max Life,
+3% Experience Gained,

+1 Life Regen,
+2 Critical Strike,
+2% Power Shot,

+1% Glancing Blow,
+3% Ice Mastery,
+6% Earth Mastery

No Wind Mastery dang it.

Didn't say you were... continue proving my point correct... considering you won't dispute it, nor can you prove it either.

EDIT: forgot to mention, if that item that Cheeya found in the old days... it would have been worth a minimum of 100 fg... now everyone says it is a fail and only expect it to be 1fg... funny how things have changed so much that people can not even see the potential of it, even with the updates these days.

Yeah... umm speed of climb is really the only thing that matters... Also no this charm sucks for prof gain for anyone with a real prof rank. I dont even start getting prof for fire until lvl 13. That charm was junk.

Level 34 character / level 20 map vs 1 EP:

Had massive potential... even though it is still usable for people:

Angelic wind X,
Level Req: 35
Spell Damage: 33 to 148,
+5 Strength, <-- Dang if only a 0 after the 5
+26 Dexterity, <-- Best Mod.
+2 Mana Regen,
