Plot hole? Apparently bernard killed elsie... but wasnt elsie trying to call bernard at the time and he couldn't talk because he was in his apartment with that other broad?

Nope.

Told you it was too complex for your simple mind.

Just finished season 1. Not too bad. A lot going on, definitely not a show to watch half -heartedly, or when distracted or tired. I think I grasped most things pretty well but one think I didnt really understand is why that william guy developed into the evil man in black dude that hated Dolores and every single other host in there..?
Is it because the quest to find the 'maze' kinda took over him and he just kept getting sucked into the game more and more?
Idk 2am and I can't think properly right now lol

William didn't develop into the evil Man in Black. During his quest to find Delores he found out he was already fucked and never realized it before because he was never put in a situation where he was able to commit violent and deadly acts. He loved the adrenaline rush of it and found himself. That is the whole point of his first season story. It shows how the park let's the guests find their true self. It goes more into depth about how they exploit that in season 2.

Even after season 2 he is still my favorite character. They took him in a completely different direction than I thought they would though.

When he first found her back at Sweetwater. Another random guest picked up her can and handed to her thus starting the story with her. He realized she doesn't love him and also doesn't even remember him. He was basically ready to leave his fiance for her and wanted to get her out of the park because he thought she was alive. I wouldn't say he hates Delores now either though.

He is a badass in season 2. I love evil William.

Just watch it man, it's too good to be spoiled.

Shit is absolutely fucked though, and William is more insane and evil than I could have imagined at the start of the show.

E: It was a great season, and this show is easily one of the best ever made, but I still found myself disappointed overall with the climax of the season. I'm curious to see where they take it following this, but I was expecting something more... I don't know what, but I just wanted more. Maybe it was that I was expecting a surprise, or some kind of revelation, and the end didn't really offer one, at least I didn't feel it did.

I do want to re-watch the entire show to see how much I missed from the beginning knowing what I know now.
