There are sites selling $99 ounces and other sites come in under $6-7/g while all the legal stores/online sell at $12-15/g

If they want to limit how many overpriced vendors there are then so be it, people will just continue to use the black market sellers which defeats half the reason they legalized



However, if there truly is a 'shortage' on cannabis this is likely an effort to keep legal stores from selling illegal weed when no one is supplying them

The shortage is really hard to believe imho, it seems to me more an excuse for rolling out legalization so awkwardly. And Ford is totally negating the purpose of legalization, which is taxes. Great news for the black market anyway.

I believe there are huge shortages. All the MSM prior to legalization were trying to say only 2/10 Canadians smoke weed anyway.
Imho it should be flipped and more likely that 2/10 Canadians do NOT consume cannibas

but hard to believe because it's not like they didn't know legalization was happening, and to honestly estimate such a low demand means either someone REALLY isn't paying attention or that it was done purposely


Meanwhile the guys who've been selling privately online are fully stocked with everything, all the time

create a false supply shortage, raise prices, quickly recoup money from opening costs.
