Anyone have any tips on how to hit a slice with power behind it? Also what is the difference in technique between a slice and a drop shot? I'm just a rec player btw.

This forum should be more popular...

I would say biggest Slice/Drop difference is the spin on the ball. Drop is going to hit and stay, you want the slice to have a strong kick to is. I do a very pool backhanded slice. but on occasion I can get a good kick that thrashes one of the Girls I play against.

I usually Do forehand Drops, Backhand Slices as well.
