Part of me almost wishes they completely ended the show with only one season, because it was that good. We know that 11 *might* still be alive, we know will is completely fucked, and the mk ultra-like place still seems to have loose ends.

Nobody seemed to give a fuck about barb being taken/dead, not even her mom. Yet, I think that's why Nancy left the hospital room with a sad expression because her best friend didn't make it.

I would have liked to know how the monster came into existence.

Also, there appeared to be an egg when hopper and Joyce entered the realm. Is that the monsters egg? Is there another monster? How far does the dimension go for?

Caught the first 2 episodes, pretty good so far. Going to binge the other 6 episodes when I wake up later.

I watched the first episode. It was okay. Will probably continue watching it tomorrow.

Everyone thinks Barb ran away, the govt covered it up so only a few know she is dead.
The monster is just a creature from another dimension, nothing special about it really, just a top predator of its home world.
The dimension probably goes as far as ours does, which is as far as every dimension would go.

Yeah, but Nancy knows barb was taken. Like Nancy said, she isn't the type of person who would just run away. We got one scene of barb's mother and she was concerned but that's all we got. Then again, I understand that she isn't a main character.

The monsters existence isn't what I question, I question the egg. Did the monster lay the egg? Is the egg where the monster spawned from? Obviously season 1 wasn't setup to answer these questions and that's okay, just speculating.

just finished it. i really enjoyed this one.
it was like a long movie.

Exactly how it felt, in a good way.


I kind of wish season 1 just ended and tied all the pieces together and then season 2 was a completely new plot, like American horror story.

would be cool if season 2 had a time leap where they are all grown up and those things return

I'm guessing it is the monsters egg, if not it'll be some other terror and will likely be the focus of season two in my opinion.
Will looks fucked indeed, he had the same slug type thing we saw crawling around barbs rotting corpse. Unlucky kid is unlucky.
