Absolutely, this has been going on for a long time, the West has no leg to stand on when it comes to the moral posturing of censorship. This wicked effort was led by the United States bureaucracy but every other nation under American hegemony followed suit.

Your issue there isn't with censorship, its with capitalism. Social media sites ban hateful speech to stay advertiser friendly, not to appeal to ideology specifically. If tomorrow all the advertisers paid extra to advertise on accounts that make fun of trans people you'd bet they would reverse course.
