Bernie Sanders has been bought and paid for. A career politician who will mouth piece anything for money/clout. But you have to look at his supporters also they fall for this kind of rhetoric. He is clearly not representing the working class and so is out of touch with their plight that he might as well be speaking Chinese.

I have never ever made the claim that "modern science" is impartial and dedicated to truth.

"Modern Science" encompasses far too much to generalize about. It includes both doctors working their ass off to find new treatments, and it includes pharma companies just trying to make a buck off the suffering of others. It includes nutrition scientists trying their best in a shitty field, and the ones incentivized by sugar manufacturers to not publish data that is negative of their products. It includes psychologists trying to publish good results, and psychologists trying to figure out the best way to manipulate you into buying loot boxes in Diablo Immortal.

That being said, she pretty clearly meant to say "we know the science" and instead said "we own the science".

Clearly...

Seems pretty clear. The UN doesn't own science. It does some grant funding, but they're small potatoes.
