I just ordered this for $197 USD: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1153795-REG/lee_filters_sw150bs_150x150_sw150_big_stopper_filter.html

It will be here in 7 days give or take.

Now my bag looks like this:

Nikon D750 & extra battery
Tamron 15-30
Nikon 50mm 1.8G
Nikon 85mm 1.8G
Sigma 150-600 Contemporary
Nikon SB-700 Flash
Lee SW150 10-stop 150x150 filter
Tiffen 77mm circular polarizer (not sure why I have this actually)
A bag of cheap square resin ND and grad-ND filters & adapters for most other focal lengths
MeFoto Roadtrip Tripod

Building up a portfolio now (I don't intend to work professionally though). I've gotten quite good with my shooting lately.

This is a sample panorama (two 15mm shots stitched). Never could've done this with my older 10-20mm ultrawide on DX, too much distortion to stitch panorama shots.

This isn't what I consider an excellent photo, just a test shot.

Nice light mate but maybe too heavy on the hdr look.

Composition wise i might of framed the leading lines of the fence a little better into the boats. A composition with a 50mm lens or 85mm from further back would of gave better compression. It would still be "wide" but the compression would be tighter.

Ugh, the disclaimer!!!!!! :O :( "This isn't what I consider an excellent photo, just a test shot." (It's not a shot I'd normally show off). What I'm really trying to show off is how well the lens handles at 15mm... can actually stitch two 15mm shots together without it looking weird.

15mm wasn't the focal length for this scene at all. Other than stretching out the fence, there was pretty much zero foreground interest. The fence didn't line up with the boats well. I had my primes with me, but I specifically wanted to test out the 15-30 @ 15mm :)

My girlfriend was literally tugging at me and whining that I wasn't holding her while the sun set. There's lots of issues with the shot for sure. I threw on the ultra HDR look to make it a little more interesting, like throwing ketchup on tater tots. Not the best meal.

Just giving you a few bro tips.

Try stitching with a 50mm lens, you'll get what i mean.

Oh I know what you mean :) I've done a lot of stitching with my 50mm down at that beach. Actually have one of those shots printed onto a mug of mine oddly enough.

I do appreciate the tips. Bugs me uploading shots like those because they aren't what I'd call show-off worthy, but I wanted to brag about my new lens :D
