Nice light mate but maybe too heavy on the hdr look.
Composition wise i might of framed the leading lines of the fence a little better into the boats. A composition with a 50mm lens or 85mm from further back would of gave better compression. It would still be "wide" but the compression would be tighter.
Ugh, the disclaimer!!!!!!
"This isn't what I consider an excellent photo, just a test shot." (It's not a shot I'd normally show off). What I'm really trying to show off is how well the lens handles at 15mm... can actually stitch two 15mm shots together without it looking weird.
15mm wasn't the focal length for this scene at all. Other than stretching out the fence, there was pretty much zero foreground interest. The fence didn't line up with the boats well. I had my primes with me, but I specifically wanted to test out the 15-30 @ 15mm
My girlfriend was literally tugging at me and whining that I wasn't holding her while the sun set. There's lots of issues with the shot for sure. I threw on the ultra HDR look to make it a little more interesting, like throwing ketchup on tater tots. Not the best meal.
