I'm glad someone else finally agrees, haha.

I've never once suggested either of the Murakamis to someone who had actually heard of them.

it's really all i ever read!
first one i read was wind-up bird chronicle
could not really understand it, so i read it again
then i started to understand murakami's world
ever since, i think i've read it about 5 times...
a simpler one i like to read more casually is south of the border etc

Wind-Up Bird was also the book that got me into his work.
Intend on rereading it at some point.
But since then, I've read everything except a few short stories, his book on running, and his newest 'Wind Pinball'.

One on my all time favorite authors is Chuck Palahniuk, he wrote the book of the movie adaptation Fight Club. All around easy stuff to read. Most all of his books I've read by him I've thoroughly enjoyed.
So of the better ones Are; Rant, choke, fight club, lullaby, and Diary.

Survivor was by far his best book, having never read any of his other works, simply knowing it is.
