Hope this is right forum, if not feel free to move meds.

I do tons of screenshots for trade threads.

I use paint and Greenshot to do them. Here is an example

http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=73776782&f=53

My problem is that my images are getting very grainy. I am looking for a solution.

Am I expecting too much to fit per image? The challenge is that jsp only allows 3 images per trade topic.

Would I be better off saving in one format vs another? Does it matter what photo hosting service I am using (Imgur)?

They also seem to degrade over time. Is this happening as I add more pictures (size related), or does it degrade every time I save it?

Thanks in advance for any help. If it is allowed I will gladly donate for your time and help.

Imgur scales down images once they exceed a certain size. That is why it looks grainy.
Unfortunately I do not know of any alternatives you can use.

OK that helps. Thankyou!

Anyone know of a fairly affordable image hosting service (if it is allowed, please don't break the rules for me). It seems like tinypic does it even worse (makes the images literally tiny).

Anyone know if photo bucket might be less likely to do this?
