Its a Orion 8in. Newtonian with a Atlas tripod.

Did think this picture would turn out like it did. Was a 1 shot 1:30 min sub. Its M51 (Whirlpool Galaxy)
I wish i could get rid of those double stars. I need a auto guider which runs for $250 - $300

very cool, would love to see photos of the planets. Is that a digital telescope or just a straight optical lense one?

Pretty much unscrew the part you put your eyepiece on and screw on your dslr camera. We have running into some problems photoing planets. We have this. It's Jupiter.


I'm guessing we have to either do a video and just take pictures from there or get a barlow lense.

Here is a nice Moon picture we took last Saturday.
