Jade's Story Writing Competition

Guidelines:

- Write a short story using 1 of 5 given prompts

- There is no high or low word limit, but it should be a complete scene or story

- Try to use good grammar and punctuation

- unless your story is actually funny, you probably won't win if you write a 500 word sex scene

- post your entry on here or pm it to me

- include at least one unique item from Diablo I or Diablo II in your story (Shadowfang ++)

- this is just for fun - I am not doing this to use you guys or for anything besides our entertainment

- accepting entries until high noon PST, December 25th

- have a different prompt in mind? pm me your idea - if it's reasonable, it's cool with me

- winner will be chosen based on how many entries are submitted... either I will choose or narrow it down to a few for all to vote on

- questions or helpful tips? pm me.

Prompts

Note: I know there are a ton of Diablo-based books out there... if anyone knows if these particular subjects have been written about in books, please let me know so I can change the prompt!

Act 1: The transformation and/or early doings of Diablo I's "The Rogue" to Blood Raven
Act 2: Elzix and his brigands' first encounter with the vipers
Act 3: The shady adventures of the young alchemist Alkor in a flourishing Kurast
Act 4: The journey of Halbu and Jamella to the crossroads of heaven and hell
Act 5: Anya's journey through the Crystalline Passage of Mount Arreat as Nihlathak's prisoner

Prizes
(assuming there is more than one entry)

1st Place: 3000 fg
2nd Place: 1000 fg
3rd Place: 750 fg
4th place: Full USEAST Ladder classic-rush sorceress on account or 250 fg, your choice.
Participation: .01-100 fg depending on effort

One upon a time Anya traveled thought Crystalline Passage of Mount Arreat to see her step dad Alchor. She found him along in the dark in a cage minding his own business, she set next to his cage, and started playing with herself, and saying" you will never get this, you will never get this, lalala". One day he broke the cage, and he had it!!!!! High five!!!
