the supreme court ruled 5-4 that cell phone location data is protected by the 4th amendment and requires a warrant for police to search your location data
they decline to extend the third party doctrine and did not buy the argument wherein all cloud data would be essentially unprotected by being accessible by a third party
john roberts joined the liberal justices to reverse and remand the 6th

decision is still narrow, applying to location searches after the fact, not to real-time location data or other types of data, leaves open foreign affairs or national security

People talk about how gorillas and chimps and so on can never be truly safe around humans, unlike domesticated breeds of animals. It could be the world's smartest gorilla and know sign language and keep a cat as a pet, but lets face it, Koko might have eaten your face one day when she just felt like it. And in that respect, it shows how the great apes really are close relatives to humans.

one common link in most ape attacks is that the victim is generally a physically nonthreatening woman. i've always felt that i'd be safe around apes, not groups but like 1 ape, but i wouldnt let my wife near one. its always some poor granny getting her face ripped off....

dont delude yourself, even an adult chimp has enough power to rip a grown man's arm out of its socket, let alone gorillas.

compared to humans, apes are freakishly strong for their size.

Got that right. And that's without them even trying hard.

tbh that has nothing to do with what i said. an average sized boa constrictor can kill a human with ease, but doesn't.

apes choose soft targets, because they gauge strength on size and gender. so the common thread of attacks is that they attack weak looking people, mostly women.

i'm speaking mostly of chimps, as gorilla attacks aren't nearly as common in captivity. where i'd be visiting them.
