Does anyone have recommendations for some interesting fiction novels or series that, while not necessarily in the comedy genre, have a lot of comedy in them?
Basically, action fiction books that aren't 100% serious.
For example, Lies of Locke Lamora?
Thanks for any suggestions.

If you like classic literature at all I suggest I.B. Singer, he's tackling very serious issues from a jewish perspective but always with alot of humour.
Master and Margarita by Bulgakov is also hilarious.

It's a simple story. Boy finds proof that reality is a computer program. Boy uses program to manipulate time and space. Boy gets in trouble. Boy flees back in time to Medieval England to live as a wizard while he tries to think of a way to fix things. Boy gets in more trouble. Oh, and boy meets girl at some point.
highly recommended. there are two more books in the series, but imo they're definitely not as good
