Just get the 35mm Art instead of the 30mm Art if you want to keep the lens if you move to FF.

The 18-35mm 1.8 Art was probably the best lens I've ever handled (optically). It was ridiculously sharp, and the color rendition was excellent. There is no zoom lens that utilizes a 24 megapixel camera on crop sensors as well as the 18-35mm Art does... just hands down, nothing comes close to the detail rendition (P-Mpix).

High ISO has come in handy lots for me with my 150-600mm lens. If I won the lottery and could go out and get a 600mm f4e lens, I would have an extra couple of stops to play with on the aperture end of things, buuuut... I don't have $14,000-ish to dish around, just for birds.

Just placed my order for the 35mm art!

Nice! Congrats. I'd love to own that lens. Too bad they don't offer 2 for 1 deals on art lenses.

Yeah, nothing but great reviews for this lens! Can't wait to try it out.

I was tempted to buy the new 24mm instead of the 35mm for my dx camera. But because I plan to go FF, I stuck with the 35mm as it'll be more versatile than a 24mm prime on FF.

Hopefully I won't find the photos to be too tight with a 35mm on dx.
