Just ordered a D610 and a 50mm 1.4

Probably going to keep using my 11-16mm DX and my 55-300DX for a short while before I start spending more on lenses but im pretty excited!
My D3200 had a loose hotshoe so I could never safely use a flash and I really want to start learning. I figured why not make the switch now!

I would love to move to full frame, if only I could! Looking at getting a 150-600 lens, and crop is where it's at. Plus, ultrawide is pretty expensive on full frame.

What's your upgrade/buying path with lenses now? I would think the D3200 will make for a great secondary camera.

Im going to sell the 3200 to my mom. Ill probably sell my 18-55mm and 50mm 1.8 right away too.
Im going to hold on to my 11-16 and 55-300 just to see how they are on the D610.
Otherwise, I dont have much of a plan. There are a few 20mm lenses that arent too expensive if I want to replace my 11-16 with FX glass.I think Im more interested in a good, long telephoto first.

Fair enough. Did you get the 50 1.4 sigma art???

The 11-16 isn't going to be good on the d600!!! At 16mm it's barely passable. Get some new glass, that lens will resell very well!!

What sort of long telephoto are you eyeing up?
