Just no, again it's 2-3 wasted mods.

It's awesome but it's not a trophy.

You do realize the stuff posted now is quite common rare stuff?

I'd like to see more common rare stuff then :p

these walks will hardly ever have something to be compared to the regular D2 Trophy Room subforum, and they post useless stuff there too!

Since most WT's are untwinked, a lot people (including myself) do not pick up rare stuff that can't be really awesome for that class. That's the main reason there are not more trophies.

Imo a trophy should have 0 wasted mods and be a decent roll with the mods it gets.

That eth PB for example.

1/2 sox
5 ctc chain lightning
2 off auras
7 poison damage

It's "only" a decent eth cs roll. For example a 20 ias/340 ed+ with 2 os would beat that regardless of other mods and then we have 3-4 mods left (depending on what they are)

The insane thing is the ED roll on it, that's fucking top notch :)

While i agree wholeheartedly about those requirements for a B.net trophy i dont agree the same standards apply in single player walkthroughs.

Especially in reference to weapons where 99% of melee class builds finish the game with either a runeword or unique (which obviously are exempt from trophy status)
Finding a 400+ ed eth rare with either rep or in phase blade base is so exceedingly rare and so undeniably useful that it should be considered a trophy. If you found a massively rare item that has no use i would say no trophy, same for if its useful but common.

I disagree, I have never found an eth CS with 400+ed and I've had that in a pickit for years. I've maybe found one or two stat rings as good as LiquidLights ring in years of searching.

We aren't going to find realm import items in WTs so we arent going to get all the mods with good rolls.

And nowadays 99% of the "bnet trophy room " items are hacked, imported, faked or cheated in some other way.

This topic is not for such items imho. This topic should be for solid awesome items from legit single player gaming.

edit: shame the pb doesnt have ias. Would ve been really great.

That PB is really sick... well gl finding one better in singleplayer... maybe someone will find in +5years heheh ;)

would say that's totally trophy for singleplayer

just forget bnet trophy room when posting here :rolleyes:

Let me make this clear: This thread is for single player trophies.
I define single player trophies as incredibly good items. Not perfect/near perfect (bnet quality?) items.
Single player trophy = an incredible item found on singleplayer that is worth showing off for others to :drool: at.
