Well, the next season, a bunch of skill players pushed out all of those old school power forward types and now there's a Grandlund on every line in place of all those old dubinsky and lucics.

That year before chiarelli was probably the year clutterbuck, Martin, and whoever else was the third banger on that line had like the season of their lives.
Now all these heart and soul type guys are riding the bench or watching from the stands.

idk i think i'd want hall over larsson, i know larsson isn't suppose to be giving out offensive totals, but his defensive stats don't look too good either for a Dmen that was highly rated for his great CF% and defensive parts of his game when he was in jersey.

Hall did fuck all with in the time he spent on 97’s line, not high enough hockey iq. He also partied to much , didn’t listen to coaches , was unaware what off season training was. There is no way the Hall that existed last year exists in a universe where oilers didn’t trade him.
Trading Hall was 100% the choice , not talking to more than 3 teams and settling for Larson without anything else coming our way was a bad decision no debate.

This is good news , it was obvious there was an injury of some magnitude. The fact that rehab can begin immediately means there’s no healing that needs to occur before he can start working on it. Sucks he has a knee injury , hope it not career altering.
