Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to buy a Camera budget range is under $1000.

I currently do not own one, but always was interested in photography.

I used to do a lot of editing, but never really was hardcore in taking photos. Most of you would probably think I'm beginner, but really I don't know.

currently I see a high recommendation for the d3300.

Any other recommendations?

Yeah the D3300 can be recommended.

Same price range, maybe slightly cheaper: Pentax K-500.
It also has timelapse and HDR features.

Most bestbuys will have it in stock if they do not they can normally get it before the end of the day. At least that is how i got mine.

Very sad there isn't something like this deal in Canada.

Any advice on how the d5300 fairs?

I use the have a D5100 and i didnt mind it at all so im sure the D5300 is better than my D5100
