Devou has an endless thought process he can foresee every single possibility to happen, if Barry did that he’d just threaten to release the videos he has of him at home and star labs revealing to the world he’s the flash thus making everyone he loves a target. My guess is in the end it’s going to be his own health that kills him but that’s just a theory.

They won't do Godspeed this season. I don't think they will even do him next season.

I'm 17 minutes in and I just have to say whoever wrote this trial stuff is seriously a terrible writer. Honestly there is no way in the world Barry is convicted of anyone brings up anything even remotely considered evidence.

Ask coroner when guy was killed.
Barry has alibi for the TOD. (Should end here really, but if not...)
Ask cop when the kill call was made to the cops
Talk about the difference between the two times, and why Barry, who is an extremely good forensic scientist, would still be standing over the body instead of cleaning up.

E: the one lawyer says he should have went for the insane plea, but no he shouldn't have because that agonist never works even for people who are legitimately insane.

Barry's lawyer wants him to testify, but no defense lawyer would ever put their client on the stand, it is literally the worst thing in the world you can do in that situation.

Also life without parole is a capital punishment, there is no way they don't go for death penalty if they have capital punishment.

Everything about this court episode was just not well researched.

I agree, the writing on this show has been piss poor lately.

Also how over dramatic was that judge during sentencing? Barry didn't even say a word and some how he's the worst person the judge has ever seen?

Yeah haha, that was WAY too over the top. Barry, the clean-cut white dude who basically has a clean record & has been an upstanding citizen his whole life...is equated to the worst person he’s ever seen lol...smh
