Soooooo it's just a 630 forge and they expect you to just run the same milestones to creep up to it? I think I'd have preferred the standard DLC structure.

Kind of agree.. this dlc was a couple bounties that basically tell you to farm a lost sector 25 times and you can only finish boss with heavy.. lol. Not really a pve guy but pretty underwhelmed at first glance. Hopefully raid is cool.

And I'm hearing they might not even bring back trials . . . . . ??

Trials isn't coming back this season. They switched the achievement related to it to just visiting Xur

Saw they docked everything by 5. A nice rational adjustment capable of being implemented immediately.

Heard a rumor it may never be coming back, no idea if that has any credibility but would be a terrible decision.


I'm most annoyed as well that they made all the year one gear obsolete. Like the year one flawless trials gear and solstice gear that was a massive grind a month before forsaken.

Should implement something like you can infuse the exact stats and perks of an ARMOR in to another one to change the cosmetic appearance but keep stats. You'd still need to find / earn the god role gear, but have the ability to change the appearance from another piece you earned. Make it expensive like 50-100 masterwork cores each, but make year one gear and it's grind still relevant in my opinion.

First encounter was pretty cool.

Caught bits and pieces. Looks fun. Saw people running it in the 625-630 range too.

Gonna hop on in a few for the first time this DLC.
