Pretty sure that was first run for everybody but Park.

Not sure what the issue was for 1 phase other than just player skill / mechanic practice. The timing of the Rifts probably has to be a little earlier so he can be smacked as soon as the shield drops.

Yeah I think with a little refinement and more familiarity with the group (be it from our squad or just from playing more with those guys) we can 1 phase consistently. Good shit though. It seems so easy after a couple hours of practice but it's a lot up front.

That's why I wouldn't be surprised if they don't nerf it. People were already 1 phasing without Wardcliff and as we can see it's not something LFG is gonna use to trivialize the raid - they're still gonna need to practice and get good at the raid.

This boss is about mechanics, probably moreso than any of the previous 6. Oryx is the only one that comes close. Damage isn't nearly as focused as it was in the past.

Taylor: These are part of what we’re calling the Scorn. They are reanimated. They’ve died many times and have been resurrected. They were Fallen at one point, but they have changed into something else. I don’t believe they are affiliated with any house. Is that right?

Barrett: Yep, they are a new faction, a new group called the Scorn. They have been resurrected. Think of them as Fallen zombies, Fallen undead – that kind of thing. So they’re going to be pretty terrifying. They have a lot of new abilities and gameplay that we haven’t seen from the Fallen.

Nice to see a bunch of variations, obv won't fundamentally change the experience but will help keep it fresh.

Finally got a couple of level 7 clears before someone accidentally backed us all out.
