Got some really interesting options now:

Tkachuk/Monahan/Jagr
Gaudreau/Bennett/Ferland
Versteeg/Backlund/Frolik
Stajan/Jankowski/Lazar

Or my guess is this happens eventually:

Gaudreau/Bennett/Jagr
Tkachuk/Backlund/Frolik
Versteeg/Monahan/Ferland
Stajan/Jankowski/Brouwer(Lazar) (someone pls take brouwer)

Lazar has looked really decent too. Brouwer is definitely the odd man out, but he makes more $ than a line of Versteeg/Bennett/Jagr, lol........ rip

We have to find a way to get rid of Brouwer, we need that 4th line RW slot to give our young guys a shot. I tried to forget last season and just judge Brouwer based on this year, and he has still been absolutely brutal. Took a terrible hooking penalty with ~10min left in the Anaheim game that really gave them a chance to make a come back. The Flames were doing a good job of frustrating the ducks until that point.

Beyond his play, he keeps actual decent players from getting into the lineup. We need his spot to give Lazar, Jankowski, Hathaway, etc a shot at getting into the lineup. Instead we are stuck with an old, terrible player. Maybe Montreal will want him? I hear they love 3rd/4th liners

I was hoping the blues would get desperate with their injuries, but they're doing just fine.

Game tonight could get wild. Kings fans on reddit saying that their gm spent a lot of time his summer talking to the press about the lack of response to Tkachuk on Doughty as a main reason for them missing the offseason. Lol.

Just caught brief periods of the game last night, was impressed that the boys held it together. Third was a wild swing of momentum each way, Chucky came up huge and Money Hands with the OT Winner B)

Mike Smith again was doing his best brick wall impression.

Lazar is getting a real look tonight against his old team. He's top line in practice. Hope he shines.

I liked Lazar, I hope he succeed in Calgary. First line player might be too much to ask though..
