is this game dead or alive? I enjoyed it but it seemed to fall flat on its face. lacking content and having server lag issues.

i was just on it, also was on a shadowbane forum/emulator.. u can actually get it free now. but AoC is kind of dead but it's not shutting down dead, it gets regular updates.. it seems to have always has been low in population and it's great fun!

Rift is a great choice becasue you get it all, graphics, population, item finding, skill choices, trolls and it all!

I still got my old pvp videos from AoC release on my d2jsp profile. I miss this game used to kick people off cliffs with horses and mammoth bashing people =D too bad after a few months I lost interest can only kill for nothing for so long =D

It's more dead than d2. It's like I'm the only person in the entire world. Very depressing game.
