this time of year ive got a bit more free time at work, so ill have more time for experimenting, so im making a thread for posting the results. be sure to check back now and again for the latest.

to start, i made sesame chicken today. nothing super fancy, but a good solid classic. part of why i made this is because i fried tons of chicken for it last week while trying out at a catering hall, and wanting to make (and eat) soime fully, not just frying the chicken. (i dont think im going to get the job, though, unfortunately. theyre interested in me, but i think im asking too much money. just not worth it atm for less, though, cause id need a lot of babysitting if i took it, which is costly. offered to do part time, but dunno if they need/want that.)

came out tasty and delicious, as was to be expected.

tonights dinner: a stir-fry based off a thai coconut curry noodle recipe. i tweaked it a bit by adding baby corn (which my daughter loves), adding fresh tarragon and serving over rice instead of mixing in noodles. came out great, the tarragon paired very nicely and added another layer of flavor.

well, i describe them in the text, but the first one is sesame chicken, a classic chinese dish. the other one i just posted is based off a thai recipe, but i dont remember the name of it.
