1 week per matchup

14 weeks regular season
2 weeks playoffs
4 teams
1 week per matchup

13 weeks regular season
3 weeks playoffs
6 teams (1 & 2 get bye)
1 week per matchup

4.
12 week regular season
4 week playoffs
4 teams
2 weeks per matchup


I've always liked 2 week matchups in the playoffs, because I think it's more well rounded. But doing that in a 12 man means only 4 teams make the playoffs, which seems kinda unfair. But if 8 teams end up going and only 1 week matchup, there is essentially no advantage tI the regular season top dogs.

Adding 2 people to my normal 10 mans really got me thrown off.

We've been doing the first option in my IRL league since 2011.

The only major changes that have been made in that time as been:

1- Adding a waiver wire budget, and removing the waiver order based on your standings.
2- League Veto Vote for trades.

Seems to be working since its been pretty much the same guys every year. ( 12man )

Ive used the 3rd option in mine for the past few years no complaints

What's the point in going through the regular season when only 1 third of the teams are knocked out of the playoffs, and each team essentially has the same odds come playoff time. The whole season boils down to the last 3 weeks with this setup... Elliot should go 3rd-5th overall in this league.

hm so in a 16 man keeper league where tds passes are worth 6, think its a good idea to start hoarding qb in the 3-5 rounds?
people will be keeping qbs so it seems like a good idea for trade fodder
