All fine for me and the immediate family.
However... My nana has contracted the black plague of 2020. She's in a nursing home for dementia which has been hit pretty hard. The government are clearly lying about the stats here as there's apparently 3 confirmed cases in our small town, but I know of 4 people as of 2 days ago at that home alone (and potentially more now as it's spreading fast in there). Not worried for my nana, feel like gods been calling her for a while and hung up before anyone picked up. Would be a mercy for her should the awful side of this happen. More worried for my mother and grandad who are still visiting. Mam has really bad chest issues and is classed as disabled here, and my grandad is 84 and has bad heart issues.
Good luck to everyone else. Pretty sure I am not the only one currently with covid-19 related issues in the family, and I sure as hell won't be the last.
I'm sorry Andy, wishing you and your family the best.
Our government on the other side of the great pond has issues too. Our main problem is lack of testing and taking it serious. We've only tested about 40k people so far and compared to South Korea testing 20k daily, we are fucked. It's going to balloon in the next 1-2 weeks and things will get very dicey. Media of course will then use those numbers to freak everyone the fuck out. Marshal Law could actually be a thing I see in my lifetime.
Just nuts. Stay safe, isolate from high risk people the best you can and hug your babies tight.
