It's pretty toxic lately rex. Some things never change.

Yup, nothing changes without new input... :D
Anyway, this is what I posted up in LS:

Revise basic game mechanics by increasing Monster Difficulty for low levels up to medium levels and diminishing returns at higher levels.
NOTE: This does NOT interfere with Events that increase monster levels.

We need a permanent Monster Difficulty level increase for lower levels up to medium levels.
100% increase from level 1 to level 20
075% increase from level 21 to level 35
050% increase from level 36 to level 50
025% increase from level 51 to level 70
000% increase from level 71 and above.

This is only increasing the monster difficulty level and NOT the drop rate or %, we all acknowledge that lower levels with gear is obsolete and not hard at all, damn, no one really even uses healing gear from level 1 to level 25 or 30 + in a group, this is because the game mechanics is easy for those that have gear and group together on regular intervals.

Let me put it this way, if I can use:

Angelic elm staff
Damage: 13 to 36
+234 Max Life
+221 Max Mana
+1 to 2 Mana per Attack
+4% Mana Syphon

Mythical woolen robe
Physical Defense: 0 to 4
Magical Defense: 9 to 27
+221 Max Life
+286 Max Mana
+1 Mana Regen
+1 Critical Strike
+6% Heal Mastery

And random Heal / Cast charm up to level 25 when the Event Increases Monster Difficulty by 100% to level 25, this change would NOT be detrimental to the BASIC game mechanics at all, and, if you think about it, if the event increases monster difficulty by 100% after this was implemented, it would be more interesting than it is now.

Post a reply to your vote, even if it is a NULL vote... thanks in supporting Ladder Slasher to improve and be more versatile for all players other than those that live in the past.

EDIT: I play Hardcore with less player base and more balls... :roflmao:

Based on my playing the game with the event that has 100% monster difficulty, I have noticed that it doesn't make any difference [little difference] at lower levels, but, makes significant changes at higher levels.

I voted yes, but I'm pretty biased since I think the best 6 hours of the game ever so far was that time Paul implemented an accidental 225% monster difficulty event and people were dying during whistle climbs.

That is the point, if it was implemented to the BASIC game mechanics, they would NOT fall into that trap ever again... but... my main objective is to make LOWER level gaming harder and make lower tier items increase in price... remember, it is easier to find lower tier items than higher tier items.

EDIT: thanks for the Yes vote, there are those that vote without thinking... :D

Got me 2 items that I will use during my game time:

Rare earth X
Level Req: 35
Spell Damage: 79 to 138
Mana Cost: 77
+109% Enhanced Effect
+4% Damage Return

This complements my level 45 earth (165% ee)... thanks do Dude_927 it only cost me 1 fg:

Level Req: 40
Heals: 31 to 83
Mana Cost: 85
+40 Intelligence
+407 Max Life

+1% Mind Numb
+2% Power Shot

This will aid me for casting and also healing, even without Enhanced Effect on the heal charm, I will still be able to heal effectively, again, thanks to Dude_927 trading @ 1 fg.

Hi all, just testing the laptop after turning off the touchpad, I was having trouble typing sentences and paragraphs as the sensitivity of it would move the cursor or highlight what I have written then BOOM... all that text is gone and I have to rewrite.

Code
Added a new command to toggle single player "easy mode": /set easy [1|0]
This feature determines how many monsters spawn when you are playing solo. In easy mode, only 1-2 regular monsters will spawn, and only 1 evil presence at a time. Regular mode is 1-3 monsters or evil presences. This feature is enabled by default until you complete your first Master Quest of the current season.
To see your current single player mode: /set easy
To enable: /set easy 1
To disable: /set easy 0
This does not save between character changes/logouts. You must re-issue this command as desired if you change characters or logout.

Might have to test this out, it might come in handy or be a waste of time.
