Plat #42 - Demon’s Souls Remake

There is a lot wrong with this game. World/character tendency are quite literally the dumbest things I’ve ever seen in any game, the bosses are truly awful outside of flamelurker and allant, combat is very stiff and doesn’t feel good, and 3 of the 5 worlds are shit. It has some decent aspects but out of the souls games I’ve played (ds3, bloodborne, elden ring, sekiro) it is BY FAR the worst of them. Unless you’re heavily into this type of game I wouldn’t recommend it

the plat can be greatly simplified if you plan your tendency routes out and save cheese for the spells/miracles trophies. I didn’t do this but it would have been nice lol

If yes I understand ur point.
This game was the first of that all so yeah its a little bit rusty.
The bosses are more a riddle then a fight.
But in one point is demon's souls one of the best in the atmosphere.
Only bloodborne come near to that atmosphere

Yeah I played it after all of the ones I mentioned. If I played it first I probably wouldn’t be so critical of it

Also I get that they wanted to be faithful to the original game with the remake but some of the fixes that they could have made seem like no brainers. If they can add the sodden ring for world 5 they could add a ring that prevents world tendency from changing while it’s equipped

Plat #43 - Ghost of Tsushima (PS5)

this game is still amazing. it's free on ps+ premium; if anyone hasn't played it you really should. easy plat too

Plat #44 - Mafia: Definitive Edition

Combat is still heavily dated even in this remake, but otherwise it’s quite good. I love the way that the story is told in the mafia games; it’s so simple but works so well

The extreme collect-a-thon for the plat was pretty lame though

Plat #45 - Invincibility Glitch Knight Hollow Knight

Fun game but I don't think it's as incredible as the reviewers and general population seem to think. If you beat the pantheon without using the glitch I'm impressed but there was absolutely no shot I was wasting my time with that lol
