Hello again fellow d3'ers. I'd like to again, introduce myself before we begin, I am Tom.
This is a build on how to make and use a rend barb in high mp for extreme xp and items.
Below you will find a complete list of everything you need to know about the build and how
to play it as well as purchasing the correct gear for it. If you have any question feel free to
ask here or in my stream (Link in sig) and I will do my best to answer.

Gear
Helm - Immortal King's Triumph (get one with 6cc, and str/vit stack is also a plus)
Chest - Immortal King's Eternal reign OR Tyreals might (make sure to get one with good armor, as this is underestimated, and for tyreals get high str/3soc with 12+ % demon dmg)
Pants - 2 options here, either Inna's pants or vita pants ( if innas, get ones with either all res, str/vit roll OR if you plan on using lacuni's instead use high str/vit/res/2soc pants)
Boots- Zunnimassa's Trails, or if you are already at 24ms go with ice climbers with high str (Get zuni's with str/vit/all res and8% poison)
Gloves- The ideal gloves for this build are 10cc/150+ strength/30+cd, and plus's being speed/vit/all res (but not mandatory because speed is not valued as much with this build)
Belt- Immortal King's Tribal Bindings or Lamentation with str/vit/ar (DO NOT get one with reduced rend, as this will make the build extremely hard to start off, high str/vit are plus's. 2.8+ life leech is also important because its your primary source of heal.)
Shoulders- 200+ str/vit/ar/armor/ are all good mods to aim for, possibly with % life. Crafting is a good option here. Start by buying a cheap but useable pair, then start crafting some strength shoulders. Move to vita after the rest of you gear is in order, because vita shoulders can roll higher overall stats on both str/vit
Wrists- If you aren't using inna's, lacuni's are mandatory to hit 24 move speed but they will need 4+ crit. If not go with a rare or crafted pair with str/vit/6cc/all res
Amulet- Priority stats are : str/crit chance/vit/crit dmg/avg dmg ( shoot for 9+ cc here)
Rings- 1 ring should be a hellfire (One with cc would be best but not needed) for the experience. The other ring can either be a leorics or a rare with 6cc/str/cd with speed/vit/ar/avg dmg being plus. Unless you have a lot of true non-speed buffed dmg, the rare ring wins usually.
--
Weapon- This is the bread and butter of the build. Skorn. Make sure to get one without attack speed because remember that speed is not true raw dmg. Aim for one with higher strength and possibly vit. Socket with a high end radiant emerald.

Weapon Swap (Keep in inventory) - Any fury weapon will do just fine here. The point is to get the fury you need to get your battle rage up as fast as possible, to thus allow you to enter Wrath of the Berserker. Without
a primary attack like bash in this build, it can be difficult especially with low attack speed.

Mercenary - As I noted in my last guide, don't underestimate a good mercenary. In this build it's best to use the scoundrel because he grants 3% crit chance, which is 3% more kills, items etc. To enable him to survive make sure he has the vanishing
skill for healing, as well as a fast bow with life on hit and a socket. Also make sure he has a amulet with loh/vit/life%/armor. Rings can be the same or hellfire/leorics for xp

Stats to shoot for with this build as a guide line are as follows:
500 all res
6000 armor
40k life
180k damage unbuffed (the more damage, the more xp)
55% crit chance before buffs but after passives (higher crit = more xp)

Important notes

-If you cannot survive mp10 or are not killing very much, you can lower the mp down to 8, but any lower and its not as efficient as it should be. This build can be made with a 10m budget and still get over 120m/hour.

-Adding attack speed will raise your xp/hour a slight amount due to less fury problems and a few more kills from faster nado and ww ticks if you hit a respective break point, but do not sacrifice crit chance to get it.

-"I keep clicking things in front of me and rending on accident, what do I do?" - Good question. In the options you can make "move" a key like space bar instead of mouse click, thus negating this problem.

-Here is a idea of what the product can look like - http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Controller-1114/hero/906521

How the build works

Offense
The main attack you will be using is Rend. The point of this build is to as much trash with a single rend as possible, then move on. Ruthless and weapon master help to add more crit chance and dmg. Since it takes 1 rend crit to kill
white monsters, you need to get your critical hit chance as high as you can. These two passives help aid in this. Brawler is self explanatory, more things around you more damage. This will help ensure you get higher physical dmg
that takes out more in a single hit. Battle rage with into the fray will help you generate more fury, thus increasing your wrath of the berserker (wotb) time. Wrath increase your speed/dmg/dodge and critical hit chance even further.
Overpower with killing spree allows you to yet again raise your critical hit chance by 10%. Whirlwind will be your way of transportation in and out of large mob packs, since you cannot run through them, whirl through them! Finally,
what keeps you moving fast throughout this run is sprint. Using this with rune like the wind allows you to regenerate fury as you run away from dying monsters, as well as actually kill them with the tornado's left behind.

Defense
The best part about this build is that you can get away with frighteningly low defensive stats (but lets be reasonable). The reasoning for this is, as you enter a pack and rend it this begins to heal you from life leech. While you move
to the next pack its likely that your still healing from the pack before so you regenerate life extremely quick after being hit

Achieving the most XP/hour
Arreat crater level 2 is by far the most xp per hour. The reasoning for this is simple. 1 the mob density is very high, and 2 those mobs have low life (spiders). Couple these 2 together with a straight run (help with nado kills and fury
regen) and you get barb friendly play. Start at Kill azmodan quest in act 3. After entering the game go to the wp tower of the cursed level 1 and walk up the stairs backwards into arreat 2. You should get a checkpoint here and
upon the next game have a tp leading to the stairs allowing for a quick entrance into the crater. If you can get your runs fast enough, with enough crit chance and dmg, over 200m/hour is attainable, but 150-175 is a extremely good
average. A important tactic to ensure you are not slowing down your runs is to make sure when you ww into a pack, get into the middle-most point and take advantage or the range with ravage on rend. Do not rend more than 1 time
on any group less than 3 enemies. Keep your lines straight so the left over scrap dies in your tornadoes left behind, and be sure to learn and remember the hot spots in arreat crater 2 where spiders tend to cluster up.

Is this build good for Legendary farming?
The simple answer to this is YES! The reason being, you kill more whites per hour here than most zones. So with the 100% extra item drop chance in mp10, you get a very large and consistent average of legendaries per hour.
Just remember ALWAYS hit tab at the end of a run to check for legendary stars because things are dying far behind you and you may not hear or see it on the mini map. If you want to add more legendaries per hour, you can go into
the keeps from the wp at the end of arreat 2. This is not always a successful move because usually your wotb starts to run out toward the end of the run, however most runs you can make it into the keeps 2 if you want to add more
legendaries / hour but sacrifice a slight amount of xp/hour (about 15% at most).

If you stay consistent with your runs and have good dmg and few deaths, you can achieve 100 paragon in 65-90 hours depending on multiple factors.

Absolutely, you can build this and do mp7-8 with 10m, but 9 and 10 require a bit more dmg and defense, so probably 50m minimum.

Yep 180k is a good spot to start mp10 at.

get more life and res

btw i tested this build and route, and, based on a 'good' ac2 run, you can get 5m+ xp per run
each run takes 2m (if takes more, you dont know how to do)
so, its 150m xp+

aproved. thanks controller
