Think it's more the case of them not being allowed to buy a replacement while in all the other cases they can buy a replacement in the transfer window.

It's a ridiculous rule, considering the compulsory release clauses in Spanish football. The rule would be fine if these clauses didn't apply outside the transfer windows though... however, it's still pretty damn ridiculous that a club faces such shortages when they are allowed to build a squad of up to 25 players, which should be more than enough to face a season, considering injuries. Needing reinforcements just shows that the season planning has been shit.

Very, very disappointed.

Apart from gatuso's parking tactics, with 10 men in 16m, i would have expected a move from Setien.

Pique as striker for instance. keeping 3 defenders mid line is purely stupid. I know it wasn't really needed, but to do nothing is even worse.
When you're a grandpa coming from milking cows and you're a fan of guardiola, 20 years younger than you, that really tells it.

Just relying on messi.

Junior Firpo, regardless of what we win or not, would like to see him gone as soon as possible. Guy is simply clueless.
Same for Sergi Roberto.

As far as i see it, even Frenkie de Jong is a huge flop. Fail in busquets role. Fail in 6, fail in 8, at ajax he was something of a lateral playmaker with whole team covering for his mistakes. Doubt anyone at barcelona is willing to do it, so either he fits in or gtfo. As big of a flop as that de ligt guy, massively overrated for 1 good season at ajax, bonucci and 35 year old Chiellini can school him any given day.

The result is good, but i'm far from happy.

Decent first half today vs madrid. Antoine missing a sitter, arthur and messi, Madrid very lucky not to concede at least one.

Entirely destroyed by Madrid the second half. Although goals were lucky, the defensive mistakes were a pain to watch.

Messi completely out of the game which meant no late comeback.
